By experience over the years.
I knew I WAS GAY AT 11 .
Never ever crossed my mind to give women a try, even despite the fact that my father was the biggest bigot ever.
Even the threat of being castrated by him did not change me one bit.
Well if such a threat is over your head during your teens, you might expect you would at least give it a try:no way:it never crossed my mind even.
So:at 55 I AM STILL GAY AND HAPPY AS ALWAYS.
Greetings:Rob.xxxx

Asking this question is a pretty good start. :P
You can try to "make sure" with yourself, but you don't need to "do" anything. if you're really not sure right now, some time usually clears things up.

I think it has to do with the fact that when I see guys I feel good inside and it shows on the outside ;)
but when I see gals, well there is not much reaction on the outside, if you know what I mean.

If the opposite sex doesn't turn you on, you might not be straight.
