Hello all,
So here is what I mean:
Something like a free internet encyclopedia...but by free I mean "FREE".
For example, you know that if you search for "George Bush" in Wikipedia... it opens only one page about "George Bush" where are mentioned only facts, but not personal opinions.
What I want to create is...imagine wikipedia but if you type: "George Bush"
the results will be tens of articles about George Bush each one written from people like you and each one containing personal view at the subject. This way the user who searches will find for sure better information for what she/he searches.
Something like using the search of internet forum but since in the
forums there are comments on every topic and noone uses search function, I think the idea for a "Free encyclopedia" is the right thing.

Sound good in concept, but an encyclopedia is based on fact. How will you weed out biased or wrong information ?

It seems like a decent idea. It does seem though that with "tons" of articles it would create more problems than help. It would basically be like "googling" of Yahoo!Answers even. Maybe I'm not too sure of what exactly you're talking about.
I think it would work though if you had some way of limiting the number of articles or at least categorizing them so one doesn't wade through endless articles, which would not be very efficient.

Seems like an interesting idea. You would have an enormous amount of information to juggle, pretty ambitious. I imagine one would have to wade through lots of stuff to get to some real info, but it would be pretty cool to see what came up.

Amazing Idea, but don't you think that such info. and articles could be found in Yahoo & Google for instance?

yea, you should make that site. Google will surely pay 2.7 billion once you've gotten 1 566 000+ articles on that site. definitely bigger than youtube, charlie. definitely bigger than youtube.
