Someone posted a reply that said Saddam supported the terrorists that did 9/11 - are you nuts? Who have you been listening to? And if your logic was correct, why haven't we attacked Iran or North Korea? Anyway, to answer the question, we and I didn't vote for Bush. The election was given to him by the state of Ohio. They didn't count all the votes, they didn't have enough polls open, they didn't keep them open long enough, and their machines didn't work. Furthermore, this is America. SInce a bunch of people did make a mistake and vote for him, that does not preclude them from complaining now, especially after he lied ( again and again ) and after all the facts came out that W simply wanted a) revenge on Saddam for attacking his father, b) Iraq's oil, and c) a staging area to launch an attack against Iran and to maintain a foothold in the mideast ( we now have built permanent military bases there).

As a citizen of Ohio I was appalled when the state re-elected Bush in 2004, and then presently surprised when the state (with a few exceptions) went Democratic in 2006. The only way I could explain it is that most people have very little interest in politics and so awareness of what's going on in the world creeps slowly through the population.

thats a thought but also everyone seems to think it was bush only that created this war and there are several things wrong with that thinking...one we were attacked by a terrorist who was supported financially, with weapons, training and asylum by saddam/iraq and bush brought this before the democrats and republicans who voted FOR the war based on the same intel bush had and the u.n. also supported our reasons for war and sanctioned it. why everyone says this is bush's war is beyond me...i think they just want to find a scape goat rather than face the true facts that it wasn't bush it was the entire nation. but you are right, the election after 9/11 everyone voted for bush so yes everyone needs to quit complaining and if they think things are broken then do something to fix them because whining will not do it. although i think ppl are and will find out that the democrats aren't going to offer much else...

Because Bush promised that we would WIN the war in Iraq. Americans like to win, even if the win is pointless and too costly. Now the Republicans who voted for Bush are realizing that his rhetoric is empty and he has no plan to win.

Yes that's a good question... but people often do mistakes and regret them after a while...
That shouldn't stop you not to complain or taking other steps. Believe me, there are thousands of people over there, wishing, this bloody war would come to an end. Don't hesitate, let your voice rise ...

To "i'll be watching you"
You said that the terrorists who attacked us were funded by Saddam/Iraq and thats why we invaded. BULLSHIT. Thats a downright lie. Those terrorists were funded and supported by Saudi Arabia. Thats a fact. 16 of the 911 terrorists were Saudis. Osama is a Saudi. Al Qaeda receives most of its financial support from rich Saudis. WAKE UP.

Maybe you got suckered into voting for him but i didnt. I am happy to say i voted for the losing guy in 2000 and 2004. Looking at what the "winner" has done makes me happy to be a loser.

Because it is more popular to go along with everybody else's views than to have one of your own. If they stand up for their President, they are afraid of being ridiculed by everyone else that conforms to minority judgment. Nobody fussed about the crooked President we had BEFORE Bush!
