For some reason I still persist in bagsying the TV from my fella when Eastenders is on even though I'm really not that bothered!? Can anyone persuade me one way or the other?

Thanks for all the answers I was really laughing - Sonia the 'moomin' Hysterical!! But especially to Dr. Death who unwittingly gave me the best advice EVER - Oh yes! I have an addictive personality, (thank God I'm off the gear), now I need to ditch Eastenders and be free!!

The fact you persist even though you're not bothered shows that you have what is known as an Addiction.

Your question is essentially "Shall I shoot up some low-quality scag tonight?"

Just Say No.

Hey Flossie,

It would have to be a big NO from me, give it a break girl, If you wana stay in and watch the box why not get a bottle of wine, a few beers and a takeaway in for you and your fella ! and enjoy a nice dvd/movie together ! After all its not real & it doesnt matter what Martin thinks who did what, if it was Sonia or Joe who did Pauline in its........ only a soap.

Enjoy your fella instead n have a nice evening in.

I know exactly how you feel, i always switch over to bbc1 when its due to start and sometimes think why do i bother watching this show it's just so depressing. The writers try to make minty and gary funny by making them act like moronic plebs to make it a bit more light hearted, but its just cringemaking.
I might have to start getting into corrie, as it seems funnier but also seems to have good story lines, but not all doom and gloom like eastenders

I think you should. Did you see what happened yesterday??!
Well if you didn't, here is what happened:
Martin thinks Joe killed Pauline.
Sonia tries to tell him that it isn't Joe but he argues with her and storms off. Dot knows that it was Sonia who did it and Sonia goes back home to plead her not to tell the Police. Dot finally comes around and agrees not to telling. Ian tells Martin to patch things up with Sonia. Martin comes home and amkes up with Sonia. He then finds Joe sitting in the living room. He grabs him by the neck and tries to strangel the truth out of him. Sonia sees the pain Joe is going through and Screams out 'It was me!!!'
'It was me!!!!' Fin.

Skip it, Sonia will just carry on being like a great big Moomin and nothing else will change.

Read a book or get a hobby or go out with your fella both are better than wasting time watching dreary soaps.

Don't watch any more soaps - make it a resolution in 2007. You'll end up with lots of time on your hands to do useful things - like watching Big Brother
