after Marissa dies, why has the O.C. been cancelled?

if you jump a shark you are safe because you skip it
but ithas been cancelled...

The rating were too low. When the O.C. began it had 10 million views. It has gone down to 4 million. Not enough people are watching. I already explained the term jump the shark in your other question.

Obviously because Marissa died. But, I am very upset anyway. Summer could have taken the lead anyday.

The OC was bad but we all hung on hoping it would get better and it never did. They put it on going up agains Grey's Anatomy and lost most of us.

It was canceled because it sucks, it can not keep the viewers that house, prison break, and american idol have on a weekly basis.......it sucks.....good bye oc
