Considering which teams int he NFL currently need a head coach (Arizona, Miami, Oakland, and Atlanta), and based on current players, which team would you like to coach, what realistic changes would you make (you can't go traiding the whole team, you do have to stay within salary cap and still have $$ to sign draft picks), and what would you project your record to be next season.

oh, you're forgeting about teh pittsburgh steelers my friend, i would love to have willie parker on my team, and with that defense it's hard to believe they didn't make the playoffs this year. Give Roethlesburger or however you spell it a chance to mature a little more as an NFL qb and they will probably end up as the #3 or 4 seed in the AFC next year

Give me Atlanta. And I'm going after some WR's. The defense is good, the running game is good, but they need someone for Vick to throw the ball to (something he's never really had in Atlanta).

Give me a Calvin Johnson and a good free agent WR, and that team's 10-6 or 11-5 and in the playoffs.

Atlanta - Bring in Chan Gailey as offensive coordinator (the only coach who knew what to do with Kordell Stewart - i.e. design plays around the QB and not the QB around the plays)...

Pick up a deep threat.

Record: 10-6 at worst. 12-4 at best.

What I would like to see is the NFL and MLB every five years put all the players in a pool and each team picks players from the pool one at a time until all the players are picked.

Sounds like this would spread the talent around more and would be fun to watch.

It will never happen but I would like to see it.
