No, they never have. But many dogs do suffer separation anxiety when their owners leave. Mine are too busy running off to play with each other to pay much attention to when Mom leaves.

YES! and it gets so old!!! wouldn't you think that they would learn that we aren't leaving forever!!

both my cat and dog sit and watch me leave in the morning whimpering and my cat just meows all crazy like... its kinda amusing at first but after a few days in a row i just want to sneak out my window so i don't have to hear it!!!

My yellow lab jumps up in the window, barks and cries every single time we leave. Quite pitiful actually. She's the sweetest though!~

when she was alive, yes. she would jump up and put her paws on the window sill and cry and watch me leave. she passed..... I have a kitty now and she doesn't cry when I leave, but when I come home, she meows at me til i pick her up ... she's so sweet...

No, but my cats get upset, they always want their attention before I go to work. I imagine dogs are the same. :)

When I had dog, yes he did this.. he had seperation anxiety every day. I had very busy lifestyle so I felt bad and had to give him to my friend.

When I had one, yes. Makes it hard to leave. That's why I don't want kids. lol!
