If you are in a chapter7 bankruptcy, send the money to the trustee. He will then send notice to your creditors to file claims to get paid. You will still get a discharge from your debts.

If you are in a chapter 13 bankruptcy, you should still send the money to the trustee. If you have enough money to pay your creditors in full, the trustee will pay off the creditors who filed claims in your case and you will receive your discharge.

The worst thing you can do is have the case dismissed trying to settle everything yourself with your creditors. Your credit report will show that you had a bankruptcy that was dismissed. Your creditors can also come back and claim all the interest you would have owed them since the filing of your bankruptcy which means you would have to pay more money to your creditors. If a creditor did not file a claim in a chapter 13 and it is after the bar date, that debt will be discharged under bankruptcy because they did not respond.

Talk to your attorney. If you have the funds to pay off your debts now, just drop the bankruptcy action and pay off the debts.

Speak to your creditors (lenders) , banks or collection agencies dealing on behalf of your banks. Tell them what your new circunstances are and they will take it from there. You should have contacted the Debt companies, who should be very happy to help you.

Hope this helps.
