They only one I have played on PS2 is Time Splitters: FP. I love Halo and Halo 2 on XBOX.

XBOX would also be fine, but I'm thinking of selling my Xbox because I've had it for a while, and just got a PS2.

A bunch of really good ones are the 007 games, and Black is really fun, but im not sure if it is 2 player co-op. The 007 games are ur best bet.

Seriously dude.
Youll get alot of Sony lovers on here nameing afew.
I play games alot, more then an average person you could say.
And if your into Halo, i dont think your going to get an experience like it on Playstation 2.
If theres a game out, which is good, ill have it, and my Playstation games is dwindling, where im selling it on eBay, or there just rotting away.
