Acutally they should be put away forever to never hurt anyone. I believe when a sex offender hurts or kills a child the same thing should be done to them no questions asked. Whats sickening to me is that these guys or women do these crimes and they go to jail but that is no comparison to what the families of the victim and the victim themselves go through especially in the case of murder. Our tax payers dollars go to taking care of these offenders. I think they should be put to better use dont you?

I actually suggested that to one of our state legislators... who quickly pointed out that such a requirement could be considered cruel and unusual punishment (and could even be considered double jeopardy) - because that would put them in a position where they could be easily victimized by vigilantes. (My retort that if they don't wanna be victimized, then they shouldn't victimize others fell on deaf ears).
I also had this idea: instead of sending our soldiers and sailors over to the middle east, solve two problems with one move: take all the gang bangers and thugs (especially the thug wannabes) give them military weapons and drop them off in Iraq and let them do the fighting... it's not like they don't already know how to use the weapons... then our jails wouldn't be overcrowded, our military personnel wouldn't be dying and people would be less inclined to commit violent crimes if they knew their likely punishment would be to go face the terrorists face to face.

yes, but who are real sex offenders. The gay community have sodomites and rapists in them.
after all prison cells are their own little community
but there are people that say Meat grinders and Cremation flews should be their only habitations.
but i will tell you God will forgive the truly repentant. He will not spare them from a just punishment though. excessive torture and unusual punishments is a guarantee our constitution has against such punishment.

I have thought the same thing for a long time. I think we should put them on a deserted island with no houses,...water supply,....electricity and let them rough it. My first choice would be to put them on death row however but doubt there will ever be a possibility of that happening.

There is already such closed community for sex offenders. It is called jail.
After serving their sentence they should let free, just monitored remotely (but closely). Everybody must get his/her chance to change

no,they w'd be sending to reforming centre to brain wash them,so one day they could change better that they w'd behave like normal people,hopefully.
