I believe you need a PCMCIA card or a USB wireless adaptor for that notebook. Looking at reviews it seems to be a turn-of-the-millenium Mobile P3 model.
You need and older PCMCIA card for that thing, the type with the straight back OR you need a USB wireless adaptor. I have an old P3 Compaq notebook and I also hooked it up wirelessly =)

If you want brand names, I always go with Linksys, but D-Link is an affordable alternative. Just don't go TOO cheap, because you get what you paid for.
If it's for your laptop, the best way to go is get a PCMCIA card, they slide right into any available "credit card" size slot in the side of your machine. They also have USB types, but I find that those are too fragile, and end up being easily knocked out of their sockets.
As for wireless type, go with anything that supports type 802.11b and 802.11g. Most G's that you buy will support B.
Check www.newegg.com for some great deals on those cards.

Go to Best Buy, any computer store, Officemax, or Staples and buy a USB wireless adapter, plug it in, and you are all set.
Reccomended - Netgear

this is a extremely slow workstation, so which you should to attempt between the numerous gentle-weight linux distros. For wide-unfold ease of use and help, i could advise Ubuntu however. it somewhat is through a few distance the main commonly used distro on the 2nd.
