I'm taking biochemistry this term and hoping to get an A in it. I need it as it's a premed requirement. I've taken a year of organic chemistry and my grades were B+, A-, and B+. Is it hard? What should I do? How should I study for it?

Study your a$$ off. The best method for preparing for tests is like any other thing you want to ace. Practice test taking. Write the tests yourself if you have to. Look for students who have already been through the class and see if they will give you their file. They will likely have copies of tests that you can work through on your own. It will help you prepare greatly.

Get a tutor. Form a study group with others in the class.

All of these together along with making yourself known to the prof by visiting him/her during office hours for help (whether or not you need it) will help you get the A that you want.
