I love Wicked, it's the best thing I've ever seen. Although I doubt it would be as good as a movie than as a play. How long do you think it woud be until it turned into a movie?

I agree with the person who said that they should just make a tape of the Broadway performances. But the original cast was really good. Oh yeah, and the whole show wasn't Idina. They really need Kristin too.

In a few years. Although I haven't seen Wicked, I've read Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West and it is one of my favorite books. So...I really hope they would make a movie from the book.

Probably near the end of its run, as with RENT. Although I personally would greatly prefer if they would simply make a DVD of the staged show, which is entirely possible, but Broadway shows simply don't do it. It can be done, as evidenced by recent French musicals which go on DVD just a year after they open.

hire has stood the try of time... and thoroughly revolutionized musical theatre (arguably) on a Sondheim-like point. i think of of depraved extra as a flash-in-the-pan instruct that, in my view, isn't reported interior the comparable breath as Porgy and Bess, Showboat, Sweeney Tood, and different modern-day exhibits (like hire is). As somebody who has at present considered the two productions on excursion at present, i can expectantly say that smoke machines, intricate costumes and intense priced contraptions would not substance make. hire had none of those issues while it rose out of the ny Theatre Workshop and took Broadway via typhoon. in spite of the undeniable fact that, i'd desire to assert that in case you like catchy tunes and something you do no longer would desire to think of too stressful approximately, depraved may well be the extra useful determination for you. now and lower back you merely choose fluff, you understand? So, i assume i'd desire to assert i think of hire to be the extra useful musical, yet depraved is plenty extra obtainable for mainstream audiences.

I doubt it won't be very long BUT if Idina isn't in it then the whole thing will be a flop. Idina IS Wicked.
