Yes it does.200w divded by 12v equals 16.6 amps. You need at least a 20 amp fuse and 14 ga. wire.

Yes it matters greatly unless you want to start a fire in your car. The way to figure out the need size of a fuse and the switch handling is to use the following formula...

watts / volts = amps (current)

So you have this in your equation....

100 / 12 = 8.333-

Now if you have 2 lamps using 100 watts each you will need to double this answer to 16 amps. Now since your car when it is running is generally supplying electrical voltage at 13.5 volts the current draw will be slightly less than the answer, but you need to plan for the lower voltage to be safe. I would use 20 amps to be safe and wireing that can handle that also.

Hope this helps.

yes it matters 25 amp fuse should do the job . But make sure you use a relay. If you do not use one the rocker switch will burn out possible causing a fire. Most relays come with a wiring di on the back of the package just follow it and you be good to go

Yes, it matters unless you don't care if your wires over heat resulting in a fire.
Find out who the maker of the fog lamps are and they will tell you what the specs are on them.
