Lee, I have 2 full grown oscars. One is a tiger oscar, and one is an Albino Tiger oscar. I also have: Texas cichlid, jaguar cichlid, 3 convict cichlids, 2 pictus catfish, 5 silver dollars, 1 green terror, 1 common plecostomus, 1 gold nugget plecostomus,2 blood parrot fish, etc. etc. Too many fish to name. Assuming by technique of totally grown you propose approximately 12inches, then no, i'm afraid i does not propose it to be housed in a 20gallon tank. i'm additionally assuming that your tank being 20gallons then your tank width is style of 24inches. it is extremely not sufficient room for a completely grown oscar to stay in.
