get a wireless broadband, all you need installed is an antennae and cable running to your computer.

You could explore Cable-based broadband. If you have satellite, there is a way, albeit expensive, to get broadband over satellite, but I think you still need a phone line. Without knowing what your phone company requires you to have to get DSL, I just can't answer you about the phone connection.

Obviously you need a phone line which is compatible with broadband, which most our at present, but if you live in the sticks you may not be lucky to get super speeds. You can set your phone line to bar outgoing calls, but you actually pay for this feature, just dont plug a phone in!

You can have cable or satellite broadband with no phone line but you need a phone line for dsl broadband

Yep you can have a line on incoming calls for Broadband. Just as long as you have a line all is well

Some telcos will sell you a bare line so that you can have DSL service. Alternatively you could use cable internet if it's available locally.
