im still only 16 but i am thinking of opening a business when im old enough too!!i.e. when i can get a loan etc.
my idea is opening a shop selling clothes but from new and upcoming designers so they can have a chance of selling their clothes!!what do you think???

Go for it! Don't let anyone tell you that you can't do it. I suggest that you do as much research every aspect about fashion and starting a business so that you will more prepared when you are able to begin your business. Also, I don't know if this is a part of your future plans but make sure you continue and finish school. Find a good college to enroll into because your degree will take you far and also help to back up your clothing business

i think its a great idea, but you actually don't have to wait... You can start now by setting up shop in your basement or something... if you know up and coming designers who will let you sell their idems, than that'll be a good start for you. You can upgrade from there. Be sure to keep a small portfolio for the future! Good Luck!!

Wonderful idea, good luck getting financing but with a good business plan and contacting your local Business Link or whatever the equivilant is in your area, they will help you put together all the things you will need and show you where you can obtain funding from.
There is lots of help out there for starting up new businesses.

I think its a great idea. just stay focused and be preoared to do a lot of leg work until it gets off the ground. The key to any sales is a kick a222 advertiseing. you have to get your product out there or it wont sell. have work=big rewards. go for it!!
