Let us live, my Lesbia, and let us love,
and let us judge the words of the old and so moral
to be worth less than nothing to us!
The sun will set and once more rise:
When this brief light finally falls for us,
we must sleep through an endless night.
Give to me a thousand kisses, and another hundred,
and another thousand, and a second hundred,
and yet another thousand more, and another hundred.
Then, when we have kissed many thousands,
we shall mix them so as not to know them all,
and so that our enemies may not be jealous of
how many kisses we have shared.

I wouldn't be a better place for the people in the closet. And if you think it would be a better place for you, if 10% of the population decided to resume oppressing themselves, then it's pretty obvious that YOU'RE the one with the problem, and it more than likely has to do with your own insecurity re: your sexuality.

No, not at all. The world would be a much better place if those who hate and show bigotry to others went into the closet and kept their intolerance to themselves.

I don't think you ever could really put yourself back. Once you're out you have a certain mentality that is unchangeable to regress backwards. Besides, i think that's a terrible idea. coming out of the closet was most likely a well though decision. why change it?

Would the world be a better place if all black people were made slaves again? How about if Jews were put back into concentration camps. Or if people with disabilities were locked back into basements and attics or turned out into the streets to beg? Would the world be a better place if we encouraged "ethic cleansing" like in Bosnia, Rwanda or Cambodia? How about if Protestants were burned at the stake? Perhaps if we relived the crusades?
History contains terrifying lists of oppressive acts against many different groups; it also lists acts of bravery and compassion acts towards people who were oppressed and one time and eventually recognized as having value equal to all humans. As the world learns compassion, more people as recognized as having a sovereign right to be "who they are."
And remember, I'm sure there's someone, somewhere who would like to see "people like you" forced to deny themselves and live in shame and terror.

No..The world will only be a better place if all this terrorism and hatrest stopped! If there was more love in this world and everyone knew about the word of GOD. Only that way this world would be a better place where there is no judgement of who you are, of how you look, how you walk etc. All there needs to be is LOVE AND CARE for one another !

Nah, you'd have nothing to complain about, except women and different races. That might get boring for you.
