The glass in the wing mirror of my micra broke a few months back. I went to Halfords and had the choice between a new wing mirror for £60 or new glass for £5!
I bought the glass and it came with a special adhesive and took me about two minutes to do.

relies upon on the make of the motor vehicle. some the mirror glass only snaps into holders. while broke, only eliminate the previous, snap in a sparkling. yet there are some the place the glass is a factor of the full mirror. In turn having to have the full edge mirror and casing replaced. call up the climate branch on your make of motor vehicle and ask. they could genuine away inform you if its only mirror or the full element.

Most cars you can get the glass, my Landrover has heated mirrors and a replacement heated glass was £11 from the main dealer.

Yes. Most car parts shops (the likes of Halfords, and small local motor factors) carry a stock of glass to suit various models of car. Generally they are self-adhesive, and you just stick the new glass over the old cracked glass.

go ti a place like halfords they have replacement part for all or most cars and can easily replace the glass for you. you have two options one that you can stick on which is cheaper or the dealers recommended replacement on the that would have to be fitted by someone that knows what they are doing.

You could try going to what's known as a 'breakers' They specialise in unwanted vehicles, normally for scrap of spare parts. I have bought lots of spares for my car. Just tell them the make and year of your car and the part you require and nine times out of ten they'll have it. If you're not sure where your nearest breakers is, then look in the yellow pages or go to www.yell.com

Yes, you can, go to a glass/mirror store with the measurements of your mirror, and they will cut it for you, then you'll have to crazy glue it on or "bond" it on. Or you can go to your local junk yard and see if you can find one there.
