It depends what the ring is. An engagement ring is worn on your wedding finger. But really you can wear a ring on any finger you like if it fits. What is a normal ring?

You can wear a ring on any toe or finger you want, but it's most common on the finger next to your pinky finger. They're not called 'ring fingers' for nothing!

What's a "normal ring"?
Traditionally a wedding ring or engagement ring is worn on the 4th finger of the left hand. Also, traditionally this finger is left without a ring until one is engaged/married.
But hey, you can wear one wherever it fits.

On any finger that you want it to go on, I would say. It doesn't matter.
