If you are in college, try taking at least one interesting class not related to you major each semester. This can help broaden your scope of the world. For instance, I studied education while in college, but took one or two "fun classes" each semester. You may end up taking more credits than you need to graduate, but you'll learn how fun a variety of subjects can be!
