NOOOOOOOOO bad idea the only time a hermit crab will willingly get out og a shell is when he is molting or when he is dead, The odds of you being able to pull it out without injuring the crab are very slim and if you are going to try to put him in another shell it won't work because you just can't do it for them.
Odds are it wouldn't be able to find another shell afterwords or wouldn't even be able to find its old shell and this would lead to its death.

You will fatally injure it. Hermit crabs have suckers at the rear of their bodies which adhere to the inside of the shell they are using. If you pull on them they will hold on tighter and you will tear their fragile (thus hidden) abdominal area by fighting against them. They will only let go on their own when they change shells. If you are lucky enough to be watching at the right time you may get to witness this 2-3 second event. ;) Other than that the claws and eyeballs are about all you'll ever see of your little friend while he's alive.

A hermit crab can leave its shell for a short period, but a hermit crab with no shell constitues somewhat of an emergency. In short, your crab wouldn't drop dead instantly, but it would be a very unkind and stupid thing to do.

No. Hermit crabs need their shells to survive. Eventually, as your crab grows, he will leave his shell to find a larger one, so make sure that you always keep larger shells in his tank.
If you're lucky, you'll get to see him scurry to find a new shell when the time is right!
If you forcefully pull him from the shell, you could damage him and he will die. Let nature take its course and leave him alone.

If you really want to piss him off, go ahead. But it would be very traumatic to the creature, since that is their natural protection. Pick on something you own size.

YES! no problem. however, to do it properly you must go to a public place, and strip off all of your clothes first.
I am kidding. Do not do it.
Don't be stupid.
