Plenty of fluids, especially orange juice and high-vitamin c drinks. Other than that, try high- vitamin foods like dark leafy greens. If those don't work, see a doctor for other tips. By the way, a cold should never last more than a week, so if it lasts pass this Sunday, definitely see a doctor.

I'm sorry you're so sick!
Try hot tea with honey and lemon during the day -- hydrating and good for the throat.
At night, my grandma used to make us whiskey slings (a shot of whiskey, some lemonade and/or orange juice, a little sugar and heat it all up and drink it). If nothing else, they helped one sleep.
Time wise, you should be feeling better soon.

gargle with warm salt water and then use honey and lime mixture- good for the voice box. nothing works like the natural

Treat yourself to a night / the house is clean. Rent a movie. Cuddle w/your kids in PJ's and send them to bed at a reasonable hour. Call over a friend to visit w/you after they go to bed...for companionship.
