Becoming an agent is the easy part. The hard part comes when you go to put your license to use.
What I suggest is to find a certain niche market that you can specialize in. Maybe something like rentals. The majority of people that become agents only sell homes to people that are looking to live in them. If you specialize in something specific you won't be part of the majority, and when someone needs a certain type of property they will begin to call you for what they are looking for.
Don't get stuck thinking that you need to do what everyone else is doing.
