CPA FOR A CA IS A CAKE WAKE.
ONE SHOULD KNOW THE OFFICIAL WEBSITE OF THE INSTITUTE.
www.aicpa.org
ONE SHOULD REGISTER FIRST TO WRITE THE EXAMS.
EXAMS ARE CONDUCTED TWICE IN A YEAR.
ONE HAS TO APPEAR 4 PAPERS TO BECOME A CPA.
NO EXEMPTION CAN BE AVAILED FOR ANY PAPERS.
ONE PREMIRE INSTITUTE CALLED BAKERS INSTITUTE IS THERE. THEIR MATERIAL IS GOOD.
EXAMS CAN BE WRITTEN ONLY AT US.
THESE INSTITUTES ARRANGE FOR VISA TOO.
THEN ONE HAS TO BE FAMILIAR WITH US GAAP,IFRS,INTERNATIONAL STANDARDS ON AUDITING, FEDERAL TAXES AND A GOOD FINANCIAL AND MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTING KNOWLEDGE. THATS IT.
MORE THAN ANYTHING AN AMOUNT OF 200,000 INR IS REQUIRED. AN IDEAL LONG TERM INVESTMENT.
WISH U ALL THE BEST.

Sit for the appropriate exams. and be qualified to become a Certified Public Accountant in USA. They have it also in Australia. Check with the nearest American consulate or Institute of Education in America for more details, including exemption if any you can get!

You can give exam just like in India and do the articles just like in India. In USA it is called practical training or experience but you get employed by the company while studying and training most of the time.

You may need to be in USA physically. Write to the USA embassy or consulate. Long waiting period for USA visa/work permits.....

I think you could, but you would still have to pass the Australian accounting exams.
