The media can show you and tell what they want you to hear and see and you have no knowledge of how the majority feel. The media is biased and they do a poor job of hiding it.
You don't have the right to assault anyone for any reason. Not just politicians. It's called growing up.

No, no politician should be assaulted.
But, if you're talking about Klein getting a banana cream pie in the face, the fact that a pie in the face is traditionally considered trivial and comical is probably why people had thought "Wish I could have done that."
Chretien and numerous other politicians have gotten the creamy disapproval and as explained by the media, these are no longer considered pranks. With our current security climate, nobody can be sure when a cream pie will not be a cream pie.
I believe a majority of people before these times would have approved of an occasional pie in the face to knock some of elected betters off their pedestals. Wish I could have done it.
Peace

OJ had a lot of community support. Not a good standard for preserving life, liberty and property. Assault is illegal, charges should always be filed and the courts should decide accordingly.

I take Nancy Pelosi as a true threat to my way of life, she wants to take my guns away, I am a law abiding citizen without a criminal record, but still she wants to remove my right of protection, so she is a threat to my house and loved ones. So I could understand some of these view points, however I do not condone it.
