I guess since you interact with the world in a more complex way with your arm, a leg would be an "easier" adjustment. Plus, prosthetic legs do a much better job doing the job of a leg than a prothetic arm. The main difference - fingers so much more complex actions than toes.

A leg. It would pretty hard to wash my hair or carry things with just one arm. Without a leg, I can get a prosthesis that I can actually use just as much as with a normal leg. A prosthetic arm doesn't function as well as an actual arm.

i rather be missing a leg, just because you can't hold the one you love with one arm very well...I rather be in a wheelcheair for the rest of my life because i was missing a leg than to never hold the one i love.

:-)

An arm, no wait, a leg. Could you imagine a one armed man hanging from a cliff with an itchy bum (that would give a new meanting to the word "frustration")

a leg. I need my arms to do things, I'd rather lose the ability to walk, than the ability to work and play piano and do other things I enjoy and need my arms to do.

You don't know what you've got till it's gone. Your question is interesting and sad. When I was younger I was in an accident and suffered a condition called "CORD SHOCK". It left me temporarily paralyzed from the neck down. I think that we take our abilities for granted, until we loose them and no longer have them.
