I have heard there is a vaccine for HPV. Does it work if one already has the virus? Any and all info is greatly appreciated! Thanks!

No the vaccine works in three stages. You take the first vaccine then 1 month later go back for a different vaccine and then another month later you take the last vaccine. If you have already contracted the virus the vaccine would be useless. It costs about 120 dollars a dose of each vaccine, so don't waste your money if you already have it.

no, if you already have the virus the vaccine wont help.

thats why they prefer to give the vaccine to girls age 9-15, before they have sex.
