I think it would depend on how each is presented (or sold so to speak). Either of them could come out on top if presented in the right manner. As well as fall to the bottom if presented poorly.

Statements like "You will burn in hell if you do that !!"
Centuries of pointing out what will happen to you if you don't abide by the religious rules of what ever order it it is....
Years of telling us about the ozone and what will happen
Yes Fear is probably the biggest seller to mankind. People aren't AFRAID (you get it "fear") of LOVE .

i think so. i mean i horror movie will make more then a love story. more ppl enjoy horror then love for example... women usually r with girlfriend when watching a chick flick....
