Life – it has a meaning and loving purpose - you just have to find your purpose and live it.
I believe every person is here for a definite purpose. Each person is special and valuable; that refers to me, you, your family, friends, in fact everybody! There is a loving plan for each of our lives here on earth and there is no such thing as coincidence. I don't believe that anything in life happens by chance and that every aspect of our lives points to something deeper.
You need to decide now to live for God rather than for yourself. You spend your life on Earth preparing yourself (as best you can) for death. I don't see death as a scary, negative experience, but birth into a bliss filled eternal life with God. I believe that this is something you have to consciously choose or not during your life on earth.
The meaning of life is for us to discover that we are true children of an infinitely loving and merciful God, to find out what our responsibilities are to our Creator, and to fulfill those responsibilities. Each of us is called to affirm, accept and develop the talents God has given us. -

80% of humanity, the religious folks, don't need to ask the meaning of life, the church tells them....the supernatural explanation. But the rest of us can't swallow religious dogma, because there's no evidence. Nobody can prove that there life after death, that people are tortured or rewarded after life or that there's invisible spirits running around.
I've come to two conclusions recently:
1. Life has no meaning
2. Life has a million meanings.
First, there's a certainty that death and annihilation awaits not only you, but the Earth in general. It's an astonomical certainty that our sun will supernova and leave the earth a burnt crisp, not to mention all the other extinction level events around the corner.
Second, the million things that give us meaning are the pleasurable experiences we can conjure up during the short period we are here on the earth, in the form of the relationships we have with our kids and other people, and the 'housekeeping' types of purposes. What i mean by that are the curing disease, ending hunger, improving literacy, reducing crime, preventing war, helping other kinds of things.
So the bottom line is, we only have a temporary meaning to life, to reduce pain and increase pleasure, other than that everything is lost to oblivion.
To be or not to be? "To be" is temporary and "not to be" is inevitable.....

A movie written, produced and performed by the six actors who comprise Monty Python's Flying Circus. Seriously though, my personal definition of the meaning of life has two prongs. The first deals with expanding your mind by learning about this world we live in, the people who live in it, and all the wonders of this planet that we call home. The second involves going out and making a positive impact on this world, which can be done by having a family, raising children, getting involved in your community, helping those in need or who are less fortunate than you are, serving your country (basically anything that shows you understand the world does not revolve around you and that it's up to all of us to make this world a better place).

For me life is a thing that i cannot explain. In fact life it is not a thing, is something different, something so strange. Life has a lot of possibilities, is that various that if you think about it, will come a day when you will get mad. Life is something inexplicable. From moment to moment, everything can be changed, from better to worse, or vice-verse. This thing is possible because life depends on so many events, people, or places. Even the septic people that doesn't admit the way of life can be surprised one day. Even if you have a static life, comes a moment when you have to move. That's why life is so beautiful. This was my point of view about life.

One has to uproot ones prejudice. Instead of destroying our prejudices, more often we tend to whitewash them and make them look like principles.
Every one is a philosopher in some way or the other. Philosophy means a view of life. Every one has a view of life. One has to learn to transform one’s view of life to a better way of living. Or else one will ask wrong questions and reach wrong conclusions, which becomes one’s view of life.
Don’t be like a deaf person asking what music is all about. Instead ask the right question - as how can one heal one’s hearing. So just having a view of life is not wise. Instead be an inner transformer. That is being truly spiritual. Then you are both a philosopher and spiritual. A spiritual person transforms his inner being.
Some specific do-ables in the light of the above:
To live is to be related. Every relationship has three factors, the relator, what he relates to and the connection between the two - the relationship. In other words, life is a series of experiences. There is the experiencer, the experienced and the connection between these two called experiences.
The quality of life is the quality of your relationships, the quality of your experiences. So if you relate harmoniously, life is harmonious. Let your experiences be harmonious in order to make life harmonious. How to keep it harmonious is an art one has to learn.
First tip in wise living is to decide to be happy. You get what you focus on. Focus on being happy rather than wanting to be happy. Be in the “being” domain rather than the “wanting” domain. We are lost in ‘wanting’ and never experience ‘having-ness’.
Let your life be a decision that you would be happy.
Understand that your worst enemy is your decision and your best friend is also your decision. Your worst enemy cannot injure you as much as your thoughts and decisions injure you. So keep yourself guarded inwardly. No one can help you as much as your inner decision. So decide to be happy in the domain of ‘being’ and not wanting.
More often, we suffer from thought attack rather than heart attack.

To look at what I've done so far and to critique myself on it.
Giving up my seat on the bus to that elderly gentleman a few days back....that was a good thing. Life's based on those little things.
To have just posted my honest opinion on Stephen King to someone who I know wanted to hear nothing but good things....well, that's a bad thing. Those little bad things are what I can try to fix the next time.

Life is what you make it. You can either sit on your butt all day depressed, or do something that makes you happy, its as simple as that. If you work hard enough, life CAN be a bowl of cherries.

Have you ever wondered about the reason of our existence? Have you ever wondered why we die, and where we go after death? What will happen to us in the end? Have you ever asked yourself why God made the earth and all that is in it under man’s dominion? Why were the night and the day, and the sun and the moon created? What are we supposed to do during our lifetime? Were we created just to eat, drink, and enjoy ourselves before we die? As one poet put it:
“I do not know whence I have come.
I saw my feet walking on the road.
As they please I go and stop.
What am I doing here?
How did the road find me?
I do not know! I do not know! I do not know! ”
God has emphasized in many verses of the Qur’an that He did not create us without purpose. He said: “What! Do you think that I created you simply in jest? And that you would not be returned to Me?” (23:115) He also said: “What! Does man think that he will be left to roam at his will?” (75:36) In addition,GOD said“Do people think that they will be left to say:“We believe,” and they will not be held accountable?” (29:2)
Indeed,God Has created human beings for a purpose and with a purpose: TO WORSHIP HIM ALONE (Monotheism). He said:“I have not created the Jinn and humankind except only to worship Me.I don't require provision or feeding from them. Surely Allah is the All-provider, the Possessor of all strength, the Firm.”(51:56-58)In fact, all prophets told their people to worship God alone (Monotheism) and shun worshipping His creation (Paganism). God said:“I assuredly sent among every people a messenger with the command:Worship Allah and avoid worshipping false gods.”(16:36)
Prophet Abraham, for example, believed in One God,who had no partner. Anyone who holds a different understanding of God than this has contradicted the religion of Abraham and follows falsehood. God says in the Qur’an:“Those who reject the religion of Abraham make fools of themselves.”(2:130)
Prophet Jesus was reported in the Gospels to have said: “It is written: ‘Worship the Lord your God and serve Him only’.” (Luke 4:8)
Prophet Jacob also said (in the Qur'an) to his people: “Indeed, those which you worship besides Allah are only names that you and your forefathers have established, for which Allah has sent down no authority. The command belongs only to Allah. He has commanded that you worship none but Him. That is the right religion, but most people do not understand.” (12:40)
