Blog is the short form for "web log". Its sort of an online journal or diary put up by anybody on the internet. There are a number of websites that offer this facility for free. Blogs are usually updated regularly (sometimes daily or weekly or in any other interval) by the person writing them and is mostly intended for viewing by the general public. Generally only the author of a blog has the ability to update or modify the blog. An example of a blog could be someone putting up descriptions of their travels to different parts of the world, they may attach pictures as well.
A website is any site on the internet or world wide web. Therefore a blog is a type of website.
Hope this helps.

A blog is basically an online diary. It is someone's periodic ramblings about thier life and experiences. It is viewed as a creative outlet and sometimes even mild therapy. There are quite a few bolgs on www.myspace.com.
A website is usually highly organized information presented in a much less personal fashion than a blog. A website can be owned by an individual, a group or a business. In contrast, a blog is normally only associated with one person. There are usually several different pages (links page, photo page, etc.) associated with a website whereas a blog is more than likely just one long page. An example of a website is www.yahoo.com.

A blog is like a personal diary where someone usually posts daily. It is technically a website, because you use the web browser to access it. The main difference is that the blog tends to be a more personal account from someone, while a website tends not to be updated as much, and is used more for business reasons.

It's very easy. A blog is a special software where you publish information that can be modified easy. A website is something more timelasting, you don't change your website averyday, do you?
Here's an example of what I mean, my own blog: http://thedomainblog.blogspot.com/
