Well, I'm thirsting for some good detective comics and so, does anyone mind recommending some titles(English only please!)?
Just 2 conditions, though: no superhero(I'm bored of these and unless they're really good) and no manga(I'm a heavy reader of this genre already).

There are a few good detective comics. As a previous poster mentioned Dick Tracy is one of the first. But in the 1980's there was a series called Ms. Tree. I read these faithfully. For a laugh if you can find some old copies of Detective Chimp by DC Comics, the stories were good and surprisingly the mysteries were also good. I know you said so superhero but if you can find the original "Martian Manhunter" stories from the late 1950's you would be surprised.

Dick Tracey! He's a bad-***, hardcore detective. There's a lot of movies already made in his honor now. It's a gread series. you should try it out!
