millions of innocent poor people died.. but why?? can it be real... for the sources of algeria,how france made a thing like that?????

yes, it's true. Colonialism cost a lot of innocent lives when the colonies were established, and often even more when they were liberated. How could France do it? Because they were convinced they had the right to do it; just as the British, the Belgians, the Spaniards, the Portuguese and the Italians did (and that's just in Africa)

Algeria colonisation caused a lot of victims , yes it's true. (conquest, people exploitation, independance war...)
But this is NOT A GENOCIDE !
A GENOCIDE requires a PROGRAMME in order to ERADICATE an ethnic group.
France or Spain have never planified a genocide like England (in Australia and Tasmania for exemple) or Germany (against the Jews of Europe).
