Yep. Something we have all known here in western PA for quite some time. Press conference at 1pm. Im glad that he chose to do it now, instead of waiting until monday as he was going to. There are going to be a few coaching changes between now and then, and we need to give Ken Whisenhunt and Russ Grimm their chance to interview with the Steelers before they get offers in Atlanta and Arizona. Also, he isnt going to be coaching next year anywhere, as he wants to spend time with his family in their brand new 2.5 million dollar home, so dont get your hopes up for this year.

I am afraid so ,he has a daughter in high school in the 10 grade
in Raleigh N.C. I understand from good sources he was given an ultimatum His wife or football.
Bill Cowher strength that we are really going to miss is his
ability to draft players that make an impact . Since we got
rid of Tom Donahoe and he does it are drafting is awesome.
Thanks for the Ride Bill.

I'm gonna miss him....I'm not sure how I'll handle a coaching change...its not something I'm used to
Last time the Steelers made a head coaching change, I was 8
I'm a PSU fan so I've never had to go through that
and my HS just changed head coaches for the first time in 35 years...this is weird

From my understanding he isn't allow to coach elsewhere next year. Yeah he is leaving and I think it came out early because Wesinhunt just interviewed with Falcons.
