some mate with the queen and the queen lays eggs, some build the "hive" of their habitat, while others scavage the land for food.
I once spit blood on the floor and within minutes there were ants already cutting up the dried remains and a train of ants soon followed, until the blood spot was gone.

Ants work all day. They are very industrious.
They search for & gather food. They repair their nest. They expand their nest. They guard their Queen and the nursery. They carry their dead back.

They are like bees. They get food, feed it to the queen, raise the young, build tunnels, and die. Thats pretty much it!
