I think it would be a nice change of pace. Even as his fan, i agree that the marine gimmick is getting old. while on smackdown, he was a heel and he was still popular. why not try something different?

I've wanted Cena to turn heel for a long time. I actually thought he would turn heel back at One Night Stand or the night after. Cena is not considered a tweener wrestler but it seems like half the fans like him and half the fans don't. And for good reason. Cena is very charismatic and very intense on the mic. But in the ring he's just boring. If he were to turn heel, I think he would be considered one of the most hated wrestlers in the WWE because already half the fans hate him and the other half would feel betrayed.

The thing is though he can't turn heel in the situation he is in. Orton, Edge and Umaga are all top heels on RAW, while Cena and DX are the top faces. So he really can't turn heel unless some of them move to another brand. Even though I don't like it when wrestlers move back and forth from brand to brand, I think the WWE could really have something if Cena moves to Smackdown. Wrestlemania is prolly going to have Cena vs. HHH again and if Cena drops the title, he could simply move to Smackdown if the WWE has another draft lotery (which is long overdue). He would be welcomed by his friend Batista and could betray Batista soon after. The story just writes itself.

There are a lot of people out there who don't like Cena now even though he is a "good guy." If he becomes a heal, sooo many more people would hate him. This also opens up a good feud opportunity for many face wrestlers. And Cena turning heal is fine for ratings, just in case someone will ask. If you are an excellent "bad guy" like Triple H was, then people will love to tune in to watch you get ur *** kicked. There is nothing bad with the idea for Cena to go bad. Besides, if he does, maybe we can see if he has any acting ability as a bad guy if at all.

i don't think so cause RAW would lose popularity if cena turns bad.There is no need for him to do so with rated rko and umaga on raw.Remember when cena first came on raw he cheated a lot with his steel chain and the crowds booed him.Yes but a character does get boring if kept for too long and yes maybe he should become the a "bad" guy...But for this he might have to join RATED RKO or someone like that.HHH is not the reason for it though.

I think Cena should turn heel, and Edge should turn face. Orton and Cena would be a great team. Edge and Orton just does'nt seem to be working. Edge can be the next Jericho .

If at anytime soon before WrestleMania 23, Cena turns heel, then we know something fishy is going on.....that means Austin's coming to whip Cena's ***......

I THINK CENA AS A HEEL IS NOT SUCH A BAD IDEA. THERE COMES A POINT IN EVERY WRESTLERS CAREER WHERE THEY NEED TO REINVENT THEMSELVES TO KEEP THE CHARACTER FRESH.
