Answer: Crap.. Though most U.S. state capitals have at least two McDonald's restaurants, Montpelier, Vermont, and Harrisurg, Pennsylvania, don't have any.

false. There is no McDonalds in Montpelier, VT.

EDIT: PER YOUR ADDITIONAL COMMENTS -- THERE ARE THREE MCDONALD'S IN HARRISBURG PA. MONTPELIER, VT IS THE ONLY CAPITAL WITHOUT ONE.

This is probably true. I say probably because I can see a state like Vermont not having a McDonald's in Montpelier, but I don't know if they do or not. The best thing to do is the check out the McDonald's website and search by city.

Wow, im suprised people knew that. There is no McD's in Montpelier, VT. Every other capital city has at least one.

McDonalds is everywhere, especially along interstates and in major cities. I would think the capitals would be considered large enough to count. Put it this way, I was a truck driver and don't remember a city of any medium size or bigger that didn't have one. They're even in the middle of nowhere - just a gas station and a McDonalds.

Fact... but do you mean US state or capital city? Or do all states have a capital city? (I'm english, I wouldn't have a clue)
Anyway, my friend went to Iraq (army) and the first thing the americans built there, after the base of course was a McDonalds. How odd.

it's false, the capital it doesn't exist in is Montpelier Vermont. sorry it's the only trivia i know.
