Start your Windows Media playe up and then
on the Tools menu, click Options, and then click the Network tab.
In the Streaming protocols area, select all the protocol check boxes.

that is all I can think of, good luck

If the site uses Real Audio, WMP won't play it. You'll need to get Real Player.

By the looks of it, Linx FM does not broadcast online. I've looked long and hard for any 'live' link, and failed to find one.

Try listening to another station. If you want British radio, try http://www.mediauk.com/listen which lists them all.
