How do I determine what my true purpose in life is?

What do you see your purpose in life is? There are many varieties you can go about to determine your purpose. It is entirely based upon your interest and your main outlook in life.

Some people feel like, finding that special someone to share a life with, begin a family with, and pursue a future together with, is their purpose. Others pursue the dream of a businessman, chasing after money, like it's an addiction. And there are the few, who devote themselves to improving their society, by helping people in need. Last but not least, the ones who want to make a mark; the ones who want to be known for a great achievement or to be famous.

So you decide, which one fits you best? (It can be more than one choice, that's why I said there are many varieties.) You just have to find out what kind of person you are first.

Age old question, the purpose in life is to live, love and be happy. I assume you are not speaking on such broad terms though and are talking about your specific purpose. This may not be revealed to ou for some time, or you amy already know it. Follow your passion and listen to those "gut Feelings" and you will be going down the road you are supposed to be on. Beyond that, I would suggest that you don't worry so much about it, relax, have fun and enjoy the trip!!

Do something little in as many fields as you possibly can.

Teach a child to swim one day, bottle feed an orphan kitten the next, learn how to skydive, take up painting, drive a truck across the country and sail back, ride a horse, write a song, fall in love, raise a family.

Some of the most interesting people I know, myself included, haven't found their walk of life yet but won't stop trying to find it until they've tried everything.
