If you DO hook up a 360 or PS3 to a standard t.v., make sure you use a composite connection or higher. RF connections look gawd awful. Take a look:

it is not true that it would not be worth it...well both of them suck, so its not worth it buying them in the first place. get a Wii and you don't have to worry about it, because it does not have one. the high definition thing in the xbox 360 and ps3 blow out, i have herd some after 8 months( for the 360), so then you have to go fix or buy a new one. and PS3's can blowup, no joke, google it or something, no videos of one YET though :(

You don't own an HD TV today, but in a year or two you most likely will, and the ps3 and xbox 360 should still be relevant.

Thats not true at all. You can still enjoy the games. It just looks better on an HDTV. Get a 360! they rule!
