Well, I don't live in SA anymore...*tears*! Anyways, it really all depends on what you like! There'll always be stuff to do at the coast and in the bush! I think that going to the coast is much cheaper, and I prefer it more at the coast! Oh, there's crime all over...I don't know where the most would be, I think maybe it's kinda less at the coast!

You can either visit Mpumalanga - you would be able to go to Kruger national park (bushveld) or southern cape - it's a beautiful stretch of coastline from Plettenberg bay to Mossel bay - with beautiful weather. If you are in that region, you would have ease access to some of the world's beautiful caves called Kango caves.
If you want more, I can find some sites for you - just drop me an email at mleluma@yahoo.com.

well,september/october is the best month to come. the coast is amazing. theres alot of SAVE places to go. why dont you start in Johannesburg,go through the bushveld to PE and then go the Garden route up to Knysna, go into the little karoo and shoot through to ct. that way you will see everything!!!! and theres crime all over, just dont be stupid and carry cameras or valubles out in the open!
