Vitamins and water are reabsorbed, malfunctioning of the anal sphincter can cause the body to lose too much water, which can lead to other health issues.

I am assuming you are asking about digestion and absorption. the water is absorbed in the large intestine. The vitamins and minerals in the small intestine. Some vitamin K is absorbed in the large intestine, because it is made by bacteria there.
