If fanatics run around killing innocent people, do you invite them over for ice cream and cake?

No. War won't stop terrorism. In fact, an unjust and questionable war only fuels more terrorism. War differs from terrorism in the way that the conduct of war is strictly governed by rules and international laws, and that the opposing combatants involved in the war must adhere to the rules of warfare. However, if the combatants disregard these rules, or impose their own interpretation on the conduct of war that are contrary to internationally established rules, then they are committing war-crimes. The distinction between war and terrorism is thus obscured.

War against terrorists, you mean. But as soon as 20 are destroyed, 40 more join. We are dealing with unconventional beliefs here and unconventional people. They think differently than us and hate the USA. They have been promised rewards for our death. We have to destroy the leaders and training camps. that's what we're not doing....makes me sick.
