The democrats got elected using the Iraq war. Now that they are there, I am not hearing anything much about it. Has Cindy now lost her usefulness for them?

If I'm bashing ANYbody, it's the democrats for kicking her to the curb.

Since the democrats won, poor Cindy has been thrown to the side. Her propaganda sideshow is over and the democrats took full advantage of her. Poor woman now has nobody. Maybe she will now realize the damage she has done to her heroic son's name.

Actually I think Sheehan and her ilk represent the one issue that might finally cause the Democratic Party to finally fracture. The left wing of the party wants an immediate pullout from Iraq and investigations of the administration. The moderate forces in the party realize neither of these things would be good for the country. I personally think there is a war brewing within the party and it should be very interesting to watch over the next 2 years as it will all finally erupt just in time for 08 election. Sheehan isn't going away quietly and neither are the people like George Soros. Just look at what the power brokers did to Joe Leibermann just for having the gall to say he supported the war.

qncyguy21: I have great sympathy for the sacrifice suffered by Casey Sheehan's family, but Cindy Sheehan has a political agenda and she stopped getting my sympathy at the point when she called other mother's sons and daughters who are serving their country rapists, murders and war criminals. Support this sick woman if you must, but kindly spare us the she's a poor mother routine, it just doesn't wash anymore.

From what I heard Dick Morris say, the Democrats don't plan to do anything about the war in Iraq. He said they think it's Bush's problem. Don't want to touch it with a 10 foot pole. If true, then Cindy Sheehan is dust.

Cindy Sheehan had no use for the democrats. If anything she hurt them. Not only is she an embarassment to the dems but to every United States citizen. That woman needs to go back home mourn the loss of her child and move on. I'm tired of her thinking she has any purpose in the public spotlight (oh yes that's right she does, to work for the republicans). Now she has the rest of the world thinking "God, that's what they're like" instead of "Finally they're taking a stand on something" which is what I think she's trying to convey (but doing horribly at it)

Cindy Sheehan lost her usefulness to the human race years ago

Well seeing that sheehan was a big figure in 2004 when the democrats lost, and was nonexistent in the 2006 elections, how much more obvious can the answer be?
She was NEVER a factor.

Cindy turned on them the other day, so I would say she is not use to them anymore.

Cindy Sheehan is not the brightest crayon in the box.

Rave on, Cindy! You help show the rest of sane America the sort of fringe loons that are running the Leftocrat party, and who they have to kowtow to now that the people who supported them demand payment.

I was never aware that she had a "usefulness", other than speaking out trying to help other parents from living the same nightmare.

now that you are finished bashing her, have you sacrificed as much for freedom as she has??!!

You people should be ashamed of yourselves, and ashamed that anyone attacks a distraught military mother who lost her son in war protecting your right to hate your fellow American!
