Why people believe in ghost?
I still remember my lecturer said how to recognize the race of the ghost..
1. flying = malay
2. walking = indian
3. jumping = chinese
4. look like human = mat salih ( white )
5. crawling = japan / korea
i never believe in ghost and Quran any mention about ghost so it is depent to u either u want believe it or not!

Pontianak, popularly known in Malaysia and Indonesia is a type of vampire which is usually a woman who died during child birth and became undead, so 'she' seek for revenge. Pontianak became very popular since the movie, Pontianak Harum Sundal Malam.
Do they really exist? It depends on the individual. Like any other ghost and spirit, if you believe they exist, then they exist. But if you don't, then it is just a myth.
If you ask any Malaysian, also depends on who you ask. Most villagers would say they do, but if you ask someone from the urban area, they would say they don't...
As for me, I don't believe in them. However, I believe in being careful and always respect what the elders say about the 'pantang larang'. =)

Those banshees? Yep. They exists. You should go to the museums where some Malaysians caught em and put em in the bottles. Pretty cute, like a doll yet so scary haha!

its a myth.
maybe more than myth. many claim they have meet it.
like dragons , many know know it , but never proved exist.
