what are teh best webpages where to find a good flat in the city centre?
what should i be aware of?
what do landlords usually think of one room being used as a light workshop? (would that be ok if i put a wide format (50inch) printer and plotter in one of the rooms, if i am renting a flat entirely for myself?) what do u think about that?

tudents eitherlive on the streets or in very low-cost 'housing'. If living on the streets, they should be aware of the odd tramp wielding fried mars bars.
The use of one room as a workshop would be acceptable if it were not full of electrical equipment. You must bare in mind that people north of the border (esp in Glasgow) are at least 20 years behind everywhere else (or is that 30 years in Ireland??), anyway, i thimk it would be considered ok if a small forge were built and the room was used for smelting iron.
