A true average of numbers or scores is the mean. Let's say there are 5 bears with the following IQ scores - 25, 20, 52, 12, 21. The average IQ of those five bears is 26. If the bear in question has an IQ of 28, he is indeed smarter than the average bear. However, he is not the smartest bear (that would be the bear with 52), but he is smarter than the average IQ level of the bears.

Logically speaking, I think higher IQ is in the same level as mean, mode or median.

Usually it just means he has a high opinion of himself.
Having a high IQ means you have capacity- it does not mean you are using it. Smart is not necessarily IQ; it is more like wisdom- the ability to apply what you know to make your decisions more accurate in a given situation.
Performance matters. Claims are advertising; just hot air until backed up with accomplishment. Most advertising is a gross exaggeration of truth, isn't it?

Forgiveness, please, if I somehow digress. But, in the interest of safety, we should remember that the average bear is very mean, even if standing in the median. How sweet would you be if you suddenly realized you were standing bare on the median.

Considering that I.Q. scores have a normal distribution ( a bell shaped curve ), then that would mean that the mean, median, and mode are all the same. Therefore, all three.

Well, smarter than most bears - I gave my oldest daughter the nickname "Bear" years ago - and no, I'm not smarter than my Bear! See, I raised her right...
