what is there to do in upstate New Hampshire besides skiing?

Not mush without the snow! There's very little snow all over the state, sadly. I live in the Lakes Region, around the middle of the state, but I have family up north. If there were snow we'd be going up there for some snowmobiling. That's what there is to do in upstate New Hampshire during the winter. Everyone up north snowmobiles, and there's so many long trails that'll bring you write into Maine or Canada. Some of the ski resorts up north have a bit of snow, so you could do some skiing or snowboarding.

If I were you, I'd go to the Berlin/Milan area and go to Success. But no one really knows about Success except the people who own camps around there. It's a massive pond that's technically large enough and deep enough to be considered a lake. It's kind of out in the middle of nowhere, so there's not really any electricity. But there's about 50 camps around Success, and people stay there in the summer and winter. I love it up there so much! It's jsut something so secretive and special, and the camps are all of an old style. It's so nice to go up there for a week in the summer to get away from the city and what not. It's nice in the winter, too. Especially when there's snow and you can go snowmobiling across the pond and through the logging trails.

But there's no snow! It's been the most awkward winter. Hardly any snow at all, and while January's usually the coldest month, today the temperature nearly reached 60 degrees!

Go to Canada! St. Catherine street will do ya right. I live in NH have all my life. There is nothing to do upstate except nature stuff. Good luck with that.
