Yes you should go and start building up a relationship with God. You need to have a relationship with him for salvation. Good luck to you and God bless.

It IS hard to get involved in something you don't understand very well and that your peers may not 'approve' of. But the important thing is that you find what is right for YOU and not let others make these decisions for you.
I can assure you that God will never let you down, but don't expect him to always give you what you want when you want it. He is like a good parent who gives their child what is best, not just what the child wants.
You might consider finding a trusted counselor at the church you are thinking of attending and have them explain to you what is expected of the members of that church and then decide if you can make the commitment. If that church is not right for you another one may be better. This is America.....you are free to choose. And THAT is one of God's greatest blessings.

God would never ever let you down. If people make fun of you because of your believes they've got no backbone. Besides getting laughed at makes you prepared for later in life,so that you can handle it when people want you to change who you are. You cannot do something because of what your friends think, then you will never get anywhere.
And remember.Going to church doesn't make you a Christian. Going to church makes you somebody who listens to a person preaching. Being a christian is a life long commitment

You should go. I used to be scared to go too. I was afraid of being let down by God by other people in the church. But it was a really good experience. You should at least give it a try :)

You should do what your heart tells you to do. You have to answer to God for you not anyone else. It is a wonderful thing to know God and have a personal relationship with him. God understands we are human and not perfect and he expects us to fall at times. But he is a loving and forgiving God. He will not let you down. I think people thinks he does let them down when they don't get what they ask for or things happen to them but I think it is all part of the plan for our life. When things happen to you the way you deal with them makes you grow and stronger. There is a saying on a picture at our church that says "I feel good on the mountaintop but its in the valleys that I grow". Good luck to you.

My dear God will never let you down. He is there all the time for you . when you get to know him and turn your life over to him you will be a new person. And don't worry about what other kids think of you .When you get to know God you will find your self with new the better friends in god.
I have been walking with God for over 30 years and he has been there for me .and he has never let me down.

You have to make your own choices in life, that's all part of growing up. Who cares what others think, be proud of sticking by your own decisions. I am not religious either, but I do not condemn people who do have faith, if it comforts you and brings you hope and happiness then why not? You won't be lost, you probably know more than you think you do, and you learn more over time, through study, just like being at school.

getting close to god is a great idea. but i'm not sure if going to church is a good idea, u should get close to god in your own way by self improvement and deepening your faith in God and being a free-spirit

why would you worry about anyone else? this is your life. everyone needs God in their life. He doesnt let you down, he lifts you up!! The thing is, if you dont turn to God, Is it YOU or YOUR FRIENDS that will burn for it? Ponder that for a minute or two!!
