Passport, yes. They will not allow him on the Eurostar without one, and they will want to know how long he plans to stay in France, etc. They will also need to check his passport to make sure he has not already overstayed his UK visa (they automatically give a 90 day visitor's visa at passport control when you enter the UK). No special visa will be required to enter or leave France.

Germany - especially Berlin - has some outstanding museums, too, to boot as galleries! As for the understanding of English: this is oftentimes very accessory-ridden :D yet, especially between youthful human beings you will right now, if not right now, discover people who communicate English and are very pleased to help out. Even people who can't communicate English ok, will attempt to help out as much as they'd. (there are the atypical exceptions nonetheless who're in a undesirable temper and so on, yet you will get that everywhere.) So i could vote for Germany. having stated that, the two worldwide locations are large? additionally, in Berlin, Munich, Hamburg and Cologne this is a lot greater probable to discover English talking human beings than in slightly village on good of a mountain, in case you get what I mean. and human beings refusing to respond to in English as a conventional rule is purely not actual. in any respect.

Yes you will need your passport, it is another country altogether. If you are going for a holiday (i.e you have to come to europe for a few weeks and have your return ticket already) you will fill out a temporary visa on the plane, you will also fill out one of these from US to UK.
